A week ago Sony released some early alpha versions of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for a few of their phones back in December 2011.
A recognized XDA Developer has reportedly gotten his hands on a leaked Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the Xperia Play and has released it for those brave enough to give it a try.
It’s not yet a final ROM, and from those who have tried it, it’s still very much “alpha” and has some issues, most notably:
- Camera isn’t working
- Reported problems saving GSM Data APN
- Root access for some apps aren’t getting Root access
