HTC Myst #UL will come to AT&T later this year as the newest Facebook phone from the manufacturer. HTC’s previous Facebook phone on AT&T, the HTC Status, featured a physical keyboard complete with a dedicated Facebook button according to Unwired View.
The big difference between those old specs and these new ones is the switch from a 1GHz dual-core Snapgragon S4 MSM8930 to a 1.5GHz MSM8960. RAM stays put at 1GB, as do the 16GB of internal flash and details on the five-megapixel main camera with 1.6-megapixel front-facer. They’re also consistent with the notion that the Myst will have a 4.3-inch 720p screen, resulting in a pretty high pixel density. These new specs do add one other detail, noting that the Myst will support LTE; we’d already heard it would find a home at AT&T.
Of course, the real difference in this handset will be the software, which will undoubtedly be focused on Facebook integration. Look for Facebook apps to be pre-installed, such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram and the Facebook app.
There’s still no news on when the device will eventually make its appearance, but earlier rumors have suggested a mid-2013 launch is on the cards.
